We’re a small but mighty group of creative professionals with a knack for making creative messes, eating our way through shoots, and competing for the individual title of best creator.

Hint: Nobody ever wins.

But where did it all begin? Well, We’re Huzi and Jesse, the creative duo behind Florence James Collective and the proud owners of Propsyland. Oh, and in case you were wondering, we’re also partners in crime—yes, we’re practically married!

Our story began in a rather unexpected place: an Uber Eats photoshoot. Despite my policy of not dating clients, fate had other plans, and soon after, Huzi and I joined forces to launch Florence James Collective. Starting out in Huzi’s mum's garage, we were fuelled by ambition and shared a vision to grow our business.

After several years of creating captivating content for both local and international brands, we realised our potential went beyond what we had achieved so far. Eager to expand, we ventured into the world of ecommerce and founded Propsyland, our very own prop and backdrop business.

But we didn't stop there. We also opened Florence James Studios, a creative space in Brisbane, where we've had the pleasure of partnering with local creators and brands, enriching our journey even further.

Driven by our humble beginnings and the desire to give back, we decided to enter the education space. That's why we have launched our first ebook and, soon, our all-in-one content creation course—a resource we wish we had when we were starting out.
